Patio Umbrella Tablecloths

One of the most important patio umbrella accessories is a patio umbrella tablecloth.

If you have an umbrella post going through the middle of your patio table, you will need to use umbrella tablecloths - it's a tablecloth with a split. The split is hid by a zipper, velcro or tabs.  I prefer the ones that use a zipper. The heavy duty zipper makes it easy to put on and take off and hides the split very well.

The outdoor table just comes to life as you can see from this picture, when some color is added.  The selection of these tablecloths is best in early spring because by mid-summer it is hard to even find one in the store.  Measure the size of your table and then carry the measurements with you when you go shopping to be sure that you purchase the right size.

These tablecloths can be made out of different materials. The most common is a vinyl material that is easily cleaned and doesn't stain.  I like the ones that are made of fabric but treated with a fabric protector so that it also resists stains and any spills bead up. The fabric ones can be thrown into the washing machine for easy clean up. Take them off when you are done with your meal so that they will stay looking like new and last longer.

I bought two  - one for our round outdoor patio table and the other for our oval patio table.  We use them all the time and love the special look it gives to the table setting when entertaining guests or enjoying a quiet meal outside by ourselves.
